Lent and Easter
The Journey through Lent is a journey with Jesus.
We are invited to walk in the way of love, turning our hearts and lives back to God and inviting God to transform and renew us.
As we move through the Lenten season, we invite you to join us in worship and Lenten gatherings or in finding your own way to draw near to God in prayer and community.

Exodus is one of the greatest Bible stories ever told. The story of Israel’s enslavement in Egypt, daring escape, and journey through the desert toward the Promised Land will be our guide this Lent. Each week we will gather for learning and reflection to engage the story and will conclude with a shared meal.

Sunday 9 a.m. Reflection Group: Lift Up Your Voice
Starting Sunday, March 9 | 9:00 a.m.
During the season of Lent, we will focus on the power of music to shape our faith. Join Rev. Jane, Kara Shay Thomson and others as we study some of the great hymns and spiritual songs from a range of eras and cultures. We will also learn the stories and scripture passages behind the songs as we gather a playlist for our Lenten journey.

Lent Madness
Learn about the Saints and have fun! 32 saints are placed into a tournament-like single elimination bracket. Each pairing remains open for a set period of time and people vote for their favorite saint and the winner is awarded the coveted Golden Halo. You can follow along online throughout Lent.
Holy Week at St. Barnabas
Journey with Jesus through these sacred days.
Holy Week is the most solemn and sacred time of the Christian year, when we are invited by our liturgical tradition to contemplate the events leading up to Jesus' crucifixion, death and resurrection.
We are also invited to take these ancient liturgies into our own hearts and consider what they might mean for us in this moment, opening ourselves to the possibility of grace and transformation. We invite you to journey with Jesus through these sacred days.
During Holy Week, we will hear about Jesus' final days in Jerusalem, the story of his Last Supper with friends and his Passion and death on the cross. As we experience his love and commitment to being with us even unto the point of death, we remember that we are not alone. Jesus is with us even now.
